TMEU expands sales force in Middle East

TMEU TSO Riyadh as of 01. January 2013:
Ms. Ruba Al Omaim has joined us as an Administration & Marketing Officer. In her new role, Ruba will be responsible for all internal sales, logistics, marketing and accounting duties of the KSA operation. Ruba is the first Saudi national, and even more remarkably, the first Saudi national female member of the entire Toray Industries Inc. worldwide. Ruba has accomplished reputable international higher education and already gathered first professional experience following her graduation. She has already started to make her mark, adding both, a local and a female touch to our Riyadh office operation.

Mr. Thaer Kahlawi has joined us as a Sales Manager Western Region. In his new role, Thaer will predominantly be responsible for base business and new market segment development in the western and southern regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Thaer is a Syrian national and lives since many years with his family in Jeddah, where his home office base will be located. Thaer has a proven track record of designing, operating and selling skid mounted RO systems for and to the likes of SAWACO, EBD and Metito in KSA. With his professional and persuasive personality, Thaer will add significant presence to our growth drive in this high potential and dynamic region of KSA.

Mr. Amjad Hussein has joined us as a Sales Manager Eastern Region. In his new role, Amjad will predominantly be responsible for base business development and new market segment development in the eastern and northern regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Amjad is a Jordanian national and lives since more than 20 years with his family in Al Khobar, which will be his home office base. Amjad has a strong record as a successful sales manager in the water treatment industry in KSA and gained his accomplishments with the likes of Saudi Berkefeld, SIDMAS and GE. With his vast experience and network, Amjad will open new access and swiftly grow this industrially diverse focus region of KSA.

TMEU MEB Dubai as of 01. February 2013:
Mr. Hazem Ayoub will join us as a Regional Sales Manager. In his new role, Hazem will primarily be responsible for base business development in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and the UAE. In addition, Hazem will focus on the support of new distributors in Oman and Kuwait to enhance blanket market coverage and to enter into high potential new market segments. Hazem is a Jordanian national and lives with his family since many years in the UAE. Hazem has a proven track record of successful technical sales to high profile project tenders across the ME region for the likes of Flamco, Royal Gulf and Johnson. Hazem replaces Ibrahim Kaddoumi, who was terminated in early December 2012. With his diligent and convincing approach, Hazem will add momentum our ambitious growth drive in the Gulf region.

Mr. Rahul Sardeshpande will be promoted to Deputy General Manager of the TMEU Dubai operation. In his new role, Rahul will assume additional executive functions and responsibilities to assist me in ensuring the steady administration of our growing operation. A long-serving member at the TMEU Dubai office, Rahul has gained the trust and respect of colleagues, superiors and many key accounts across the region as a competent and reliable manager.We are proud to have such an engaged and performing senior member on board with us!
