RPI-4500A is specially designed to inhibit the scale formation in RO systems when the feedwater is mainly composed of Calcium & Magnesium with a substantial amount of Silicate. RPI-4500A is also efficient to prevent the formation of calcium carbonate based scale.


RPI-4500A is approved for use with cellulose acetate and polyamide membranes. The required dosage level ranges from 1 – 8 ppm as delivered. The dosage is proportional to the feed water flow. RPI-4500A can be used in its concentrated form or diluted with pure water in any ratio. Diluted preparations must be ideally used rapidly, within 48 hours after preparation. RPI-4500A is easy to use, safe to handle and safe to store for several months.

Storage & Handling

RPI-4500A is not classified as a hazardous chemical (GGVE/GGVS, ICOA/IATA). Standard regulations and precautions when dealing with chemical products have to be followed still.
RPI-4500A is easy to store. The storage temperature should be between 0 °C and 30 °C. The product is supplied in containers suitable for air or sea transportation. More information is available in the safety data sheet.
