RPI-5000A

RPI-5000A is specially designed to inhibit Ca/Mg Silicate scale formation in RO systems. RPI-5000A is the most effective solution to prevent the deposits of colloidal/dissolved SiO₂ on the membrane surface. The maximal silicate concentration achievable in the brine stream is between 260 and 300 mg/l.

Application

RPI-5000A is approved for use with cellulose acetate and polyamide membranes. The required dosage level ranges from 1 – 10 ppm as delivered. The dosage is proportional to the feed water flow. RPI-5000A is recommended to be used undiluted. RPI-5000A is easy to use, safe to handle and safe to store for several months. RPI-5000A is easy to handle and does not contain any aggressive component. The pH value of the product is slightly caustic.

Storage & Handling

RPI-5000A is not classified as a hazardous chemical (GGVE/GGVS, ICOA/IATA). Standard regulations and precautions when dealing with chemical products must be followed.

RPI-5000A is easy to store. The storage temperature should be between +2 °C and 35 °C. The product is supplied in containers suitable for air or sea transportation.
