RPI-5600
As inflation boosted the energy, shipment and plastic packaging costs to the highest, it became an urgent necessity for the ROPUR team to respond adequately with a cost saving Highly Concentrated Antiscalant reference. At the same time, as we assess the carbon footprint of our products, our customers need to be confident that they are making the right choice for the environment as well.
Designed for SW & BWRO applications, the RPI-5600 new Concentrated Phosphor Free reference will prevent the carbonate and sulfate scale formation as well as particulates’ accumulation on Reverse Osmosis membranes.
Its originality? To be highly concentrated for:
- smaller dosing rates,
- longer shelf-life,
- cheaper shipment costs per kg versus the RPI-2800
- optimized PE packaging cost per active substance
- a much better carbon footprint per kg of substance
On top of that, the RPI-5600, through its bacteriostatic property, helps prevent the formation of biofouling in Seawater RO plants.

Application
The RPI-5600 is approved for use with cellulose acetate and polyamide membranes. The required dosage level ranges from 1 – 8 ppm as delivered. The dosage is proportional to the feed water flow. The RPI-5600 can be used in its form or diluted with pure water in any ratio. Diluted preparations must be ideally used rapidly, within 48-72 hours after preparation. RPI-5600 is easy to use, safe to handle and safe to store for several months. The pH value of the product is slightly alkaline.
